Console - Instrument Cutouts

Some pictures of the instrument and hatch cutouts in the console, as well as most of the components sitting in there so you get an idea of what it will look like. I forgot the key switch at the time of the photo. The console will also have a hand rail ( 1" pipe) wrapping around the front and a 2' Galaxy whip antenna on a fold down mount on the front somewhere.

Bare console with the cutouts.

Side view. That's another, longer Bomar rectangle with a bit different hatch type. These only need to be lifted up and these release. The others are a compression type closure that need to be rotated to release the hatch's dogs.

Console face with components. Components: Lowrance HDS-8 Fishfinder/Chartplotter, Lowrance LMF 400 gauge, Blue Sea waterproof panels (2), Lenco trim tab actuator switch, Ritchie compass, Yamaha throttle and key switch, Icom M422 vhf, a couple of rocker switches for random stuff, a Edson 13" black Almag wheel with knob, and a Unikas helm pump for the hydraulic steering.

Neil,

The project is looking awesome. I am dying to see this rig in the water with a motor hanging off it. Keep up the great work.

Thank you Bob. No one will be happier to see it completed than me! I think I may end up using my angle grinders for gang line anchors.

You're a star dude... not surprising that the boat didn't squat... that's wider than it is long I think... very nice. Best to Dad.
