Cork Decoy Repair

I just traded some Herters Decoys for a fleet of Cork Divers . Some of the Cork Decoys have rot on the bottom boards and also need to be repainted and filled. Is Cork dust the way to go for filling gaps and where can I get some ? Also it looks like pine is a good choice for bottom boards? I will try and get some pictures up tomorrow.

Try using Elmers Indoor/Outdoor Wood Filler. It is light weight, easy to use, and adheres well to cork.

Tahey appoear to be a group of herters corks and foamers--the black cork can be saved by doing what has already been relayed-The herter corks may have some collectibility, but there are too many foamers still in existence. Fic them or put them on a shelf for your viewing pleasure.

They are all cork .They do not say they are Herters , or have any ID on them. Just the heads i know are Herters for sure. I think I will fix them and gun them for this fall. Thanks , for the help.

Does the Wood Filler work for Tan cork also ?

The canvasback looks like the blocks Cabela's was selling back in the late 80s- I used to have a few of them- heads break easily and tails break easily.
