I commissioned a carver from Northwest Indiana about 15 years ago to carve for me a mallard and black duck decoy spread. He followed the style of LL Bean"s George Soule coastal decoys. All are heavy black cork, oversized with hand carved solid wood heads each head individually carved and glass eyes. The cork was sealed and hand painted. Some have never seen the water and the others maybe a half dozen times. Most of the minor wear and scuffs are from moving them from here to there. They are ready to hunt . Even though I haven't hunted them as much as I should they have always given me great enjoyment just looking at them on the shelf. I am not anxious to sell them but my wife and I are planning for down the road and I probably have a few years of hunting equipment to sell if I was to start now :) If you aren't interested please pass this along to anyone that may be. I would prefer to sell them all together instead of messing around with 2 here 4 there. The group consist of 6 black ducks, 13 drake mallards and 10 Hen mallards (all have various resting and semi alert/swimming heads). I attached a few photos, there is a oversized plastic decoy in two of the photos so you can get an idea of their size. I want to get $80.00 each sold as singles, $140.for a pair. or a reasonable offer for all together. Take care, Greg Bires
