If we can work it out I want to try that again this weekend. I'll drag one of the pods down and we can use it like a layout. I'd love to have one of those Buffie drakes on the wall.

Excellent pics Dave. Gordy's got that all business, water dog expression on his face. His into it big time.

Ed them cans decoy like big sissy mallards lol might be able to git em.......

Thanks for the comments on gordie hes a good pup for a black meat dog at least.

Eric Minolta 5D DSLR someday ill be able to have a lense like coats has.. someday. I like to use my 300mm f/4 for now its good but a ZOOM 50-300 f/2.8 would be da nuts. I think a newer vehicle will come before that glass.

Well whatever your set-up is the pics are superb. My little digital is going to get me through this year but by next I want to step up a bit in quality.

Very nice pics. How old is Gordie by the way?

Gordy turned 11 months old on the 14th of this month.

Eric you will love the DSLR cameras I tell ya making the move form the SLR format to this is awesome. Big Glass and no DEVELOPING EVER!!!!!! I normaly will shoot 40-100 shots every trip out these days. Then just ERASE the card and back at it. The reason I went with the 300mm f/4 was I can use a 1.4X adapter on it and it still autofocuses and turns the lens into a true 525mm in 35mm format senses. It will auto with a 2x also as long as its not to dark out.

Those pictures you took in November are the bst quality photos.I am buying a new camera--would you mind telling me what Brand/model you have.thanks
Tom
