Need some help my step father is on a rant since he started Seeing some of my finer decoys I own he wants to start carving his own since he is off of Work during the winter months and has nothing better to do with his time besides pigeon racing. So with that said I'm wondering if theres any good informational DVDs out there for him to watch. Books aren't very helpful since he isn't very fluent in reading English. Thanks guy's

Check out Willy MacDonald at The Duck Blind.

Willy is a member here and from all of the comments here on the board he and his wife are Rey well respected. Willy does a 3 DVD beginning series on carving working decoys. He also sells beginners kits that will include the video instruction, a roughed out cork blank or two, carving knives, sand paper, paints, brushes, etc. those kits are in the Murphy's Markdown section.

Yep Willy is the place to start. He has the instructional dvd set and a starter kit that matches it with the cork body and wood head along with tools.
