Decoy Exhibit...

Last year, my good friend Steve Quiram and I partnered on a decoy/bird carving exhibit on the Campus of Illinois Wesleyan at the Merwin Galleries. We had a great time and fine exhibit. This year, we will partner again on an exhibit at the Quincy Art Center in Quincy, Illinois along the great Mississippi River. The exhibit goes from May 28 through July 10th. Here are some pics from last year. Steve does some exquisite realistic songbird and raptor carvings. They used many of the decoys out of my rig. I've never seen them look so nice. I especially love the goldeneye on the longlines... I'll share more details when I get them. God has blessed us indeed! Pat

Wow, that is cool. No doubt looking at them that they are worthy of being in an art exhibit.

Pat,
Thanks for sharing this. Something to be proud of for sure.

I hope some day to be traveling your way so I can see some of the decoys in person.
