Decoy Sealing

Just curious what you guys are using for sealing WOOD decoys painted later with acylics? I know Spar Varnish is popular, but doesn't that require oil paints?

I use Spar and paint with Exterior latex and Jansens. If I could find it I would use Val-Oil. I understand it's just as good and way cheaper.
