Drake Mallard...for hunting in ND

One of my North Dakota hunting buddies asked me to make him a decoy we could hunt with each year. Three of us have been going out there for about eight years, and are now bringing our sons. Lots of species to hunt out there, but there is nothing like getting on a thousand Mallards working a small slough or a flooded field. Greenheads only is the mantra on those mornings.

Thought this would fit the bill...

Great work as usual Geoff! Your style is excellent! I love the lines, paint, everything really! Your work is so simple and clean, yet elegant and flowing at the same time!
 
When you have a thousand mallards flirting with you at a pot hole that they want in to, that has to be a fun shoot. Sure like the work you did Geoff. It will be fitting for those outings and filled with memories to hold for a lifetime.

every time you post a new decoy up, i'm like "maybe that's my favorite".

and, then you post another.......i give up
