duck boat floor

don't use mayonnaise.

I can tell you from personal experience that 3M 90 works great securing hydroturf to an aluminum floor, but not so well on a textured fiberglass floor. I love my anti-fatigue mats over the fiberglass deck but they are very heavy.

I glued a good quality outdoor carpet to marine plywood floor in 1993.
used the recommended carpet adhesive.
The boat is outside 10 months a year. The plywood is a little spongy in a couple spots but the carpet is still holding together.
usually take it to the car wash once a Year to blow the sand and mud out.

anti fatigue mats or dry deck. The drydeck will be more $$ per square foot
I have this on the bottom of my roy boat imo its the best drains well and still easy to hose the boat out and its shock absorbing

Ya, I got the anti-fatigue mats as well. They're heavy but you don't slip and you just take them out to wash the boat out quick. I hunt in a lot of mud and the second it gets on the deck it turns into a skating rink.

i decided to go with the tough coat and i will probably put a mat or 2 on top of that. just waiting for it to warm up to paint the boat now i have it all prepped and ready for the 1 nice weekend i need. then it will be on to my next project.

I USED EXERCIZE MATS I BOUGHT FROM WALL-MART THEY ARE MADE OF FOAM EASY TO CLEAN THEY SNAP TOGETHER AND CAN BE CUT TO SIZE WITH A UTILITY KNIFE

Buy enough to apply a minimum of two coats, three coats yields a nearly ideal thickness and texture for both abrasion protection and traction when its wet.
