duck boats and blinds

Is the outlaw duck boat still being made and any opinions on it? Also, I saw a blind at a boat show that was kind of like a mouse trap design meaning you set it up and then hit a foot lever and the blind slammed open, has anyone seen this blind any input?

I have a friend that has one. Custom made, I believe the orginal name was flip top? seems they were from Oklahoma or some place out west. Very expensive--like 1500.00 as they must fit exactly in order work. But boy did it work! warm as toast--room to see out and from a safety standpoint--both hands on your gun, stomp, and over behind you went the top--used a bungee cord system--material held up vary well. I don't think so. my buddy has one that he got about 10 years ago. It is a very sweet puddle duck boat. His is a 14'. It is heavy as hell and they were around 15,000.00 back then. We killed a lot of ducks out of it. They are warm, dry and comfy in all weather. We bungied fastgrass all over it and it looked like a big beaver hut.

I have one. It came with a used boat I bought. On the up side it is very warm and the pop-up feature works great. It's easy to install if you have a couple of people to help lift it on to the boat. On the down side it has no dog door and its really tough to work a dog out of. Because of its size it is hard to store in the off season.

Did you get my reply to your PM? The guy that owned the company was named Cripe or something like that.
