Duckmaster layout?

I was going to build a aluminum one like that when I had time but also saw that one and told him if he can get it down here I'd buy it . I personally like ethe concept becuase it works for my situations down here pretty good but must not have been that popular since there out of biz now. also that is a lot larager boat then normal two man and even bigger then the one man and that effects how it hides

I think there is info here on are spec page also for them with a better picture

just my two cents worth

I had one!! it was a death trap. The bow came down too far and it would go under while moving. I swamped mine 4-5 times before I got rid of it.

boats like that you have to take carefully placement of your load witch most people don't consider by hey we all learn to swim as kids right :)

Has anyone seen one of these? I just saw one listed for sale. If it was closer, I would buy it. It looks like an interesting concept. Two man layout with a motor. I will guess you wouldn't want to get into any waves though.

I also have always considered that boat to be a huge, potential death trap. It wouldn't take much of a wave to catch that boat and turn the boat into a submarine. I'd avoid it.

Any ideas on how to make one?

I could definately see the bow going under any kind of wave or boat wake. However, Submarines are the sneakiest boats period.

As I recall the saying about submarines..."what goes down, doesn't always come back up". Hmmmmmmmmm, not a good thing.

Andy, did i understand you wanted to know how to make that layout? I can senHere is a picture of my homebuilt one man layout on the maiden launch. It does not "submarine" like many will, I designed it to be used in the big rivers, and I can tow it at full speed behind my 14 foot war eagle. (about 15 mph) Call me if you want and can tell you about it. 208-378-8518. I really need to talk to someone about the actual set up though.
