Based on the remarks on various forums guys that spray paint theirs say that they last for a few seasons and that touch up is easy.
I know that my raffia dye job using RIT is not UV resistant and fades in the sun just like real grass does.
I can not obtain my dye job green color from a spray can so I use real grass mixed with the raffia on the netting.
