Gary,

You have made it my mission to get a really nice camera during the off season and start taking some great pics like you always manage. Thanks for sharing.

I can see why they are your favorites. I don't know how much hunting I'd ever get done if I had some water nearby with crappies that size in it.
Thanks for sharing with us again.

I can just hear that crappie screaming "Noooooooooooooo!!!!".

We at least the crappie was caught using traditional methods.

I quite imagine if Tim would have caught him, it would have been with an ultra sensitive graphite pole, on micro thin braided line, after first locating said crappie using the latest 3D electronic sonar unit available, all the while sitting in a mega bucks bass boat with a 350hp engine hanging on the transom,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Nasty just nasty!! hehehehe :>) :>)

Tim Lives in the Dakotas and so it would be in a space age pop up Ice house towed out by the latest snow sled with a 1000cc motor because all the water is hard dont you know.

Gary,
those shots are awesome.... I hope Steve gets jealous and tries to top you, and then Hitch gets madder, and puts us up a bunch to try and take the top honor.

The flying bird shots are astounding.

Hahaha I just finished putting together my new Clam Kodiak. I have a Marcum flasher so at least I'm not one of those Vexilar snobs. :)

Bob,

You would be correct if Tim were catching said crappie today,,,,,,,,,,, however, I was putting Tim in the same time frame in which the photo was taken,,,,, so there, Pfffttt ! :>)

I agree with your second statement,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, On with the photo contest.

Gary,
With all of the great photos you have posted that had to be a hard task to pick those. Keep them coming. Merry Christmas to you and Suzanne. Take care. Greg Bires

Absolutely phenomenal! That may be the best mallard photo ever....which is saying something seeing there are approximately 10 million mallards photographed every minute around the world.

Gary,

Outstanding photos! The colors on that cin. teal are amazing. I'm going to guess that you're not using a Nikon CoolPix camara. LOL!
