The last front finally brought the birds in numbers to central MA. Both pups earned their keep this morning.

That is fantastic, Paul. Glad your party did so well. Congratulations. There is no doubt that your pups earned their keep.

Thanks Chris, Al and Gary.
We had a fantastic day. Five of us taking turns and allowing the dogs to work. We had the birds working within 15 yards of us for 2 1/2 hours. We only shot when they came in in small flocks under 10 or as singles/doubles. We had to leash both dogs when we had 50 plus come in fast with over half of them landing in the blocks.
The second bird in from the right was my first Pintail!
You can't beat 50 degree weather on the 26th of November at 0430 hours. By 0630 I was in a tee shirt. We even commented on how we didn't need gloves picking up the decoys.
The dog on the left is a little over 18 months and is in need of some polishing but it is still a ball to watch his enthusiasm.
Best - Paul
