Finally picked up my sneak box

Got this passed down to me earlier this year from a family friend...

I'm just now starting to give it some TLC. It needs a little glass repair, I bought a new 6.5 swamp runner, and I've got some decoy rails cut out ready to install. I love watching the hunts you guys have with the true BBSB, but unfortunately wasn't affordable for one with the wedding at the time. I hope to try this thing out this season and maybe decide if its worth getting a BBSB. I was a little disappointed in speeds (8-9mph) with the 6.5. I'm thinking a outboard might be the way I need to go? I run quite a bit of grass and pads, but have used a outboard in them before with little issues. anyways, just wanted to share... Yall keep the posts up with your hunts in the boxes, I love them!

All I know is a guy in North central, FL. The family friend who gave it to me had it and 5 others made with some friends. To his knowledge, this is the last one...

I could be wrong but as I recall the hulls are displacement hulls and you won't get speeds like you would out of a planning hull boat, even with a larger outboard engine.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, please do so.

Very nice looing boat !

I'm going to hunt it this year with the 6.5 and see how it works. But if I like this style, I hope next year to buy a true BBSB or fricke style boat.

That boat has some awesome lines!! It looks like a Humboldt Bay Scull boat crossed with a BBSB. Too cool! I'd be cutting a scull oar hole in that baby in two point two seconds he-he.-Seth

Jake, that hull is as far from a displacement hull as you can get! Put a little more horsepower on her and Hang On! Rich

I agree Rich ! I couldn't tell from the first picture.

She'd scream with a 15hp, but then so would the operator !
