Flambeau BBill to GE Transformation

After looking for a few inexpensive GE decoys with no luck, I decided to repaint three of my old Flambeau BBills into GEs. A little FME white and interference green and a little Rustoleum flat black (sorry Lou, out of FME black & only needed a small can!), I think they came out pretty good. Should fool the GEs this fall if we see any down here:

Nice job Carl. I've been trying to sell off some "FlameBo's" so I can buy some GE decoys myself. I may just follow your lead.

Hi Carl,
Those look good! I repainted a bunch of flame-O's last year, but I turned mallards into BBs. The decoys are too "bobby" in the water, so I am making the keels heavier this year. Birds liked them....
Bummer is that we can only shoot one bluebill a day this year. Later in the season it goes to 2/day (after they fly to Alabama)

I did the same thing with my old Flambeau Mallards. Those old style Flambeau hens make really nice BBills. I put sand in the keels & sealed them up with hot glue.
