floater goose storage

Well I have all but figured out how to neatly store my duck floater and full body goose decoys I have with shelves I made but the one thing I can't figure out is goose floaters they just don't fit unless I build a 2 foot shelf but I don't have room for that. I was thinking of rigging them so they clip on to a caribeaner like a Texas rig but with out the rig so I could hang them all. I have over three dozen anyone have a better idea to store them.

Well after thinking about this all night I went into my garage and started cleaning found an old metal fish stringer with the clips and wamo easy clip on and off and hangs up nice to store now I just have to go to WalMart and buy a few best thing is I just take them off the hook and toss into boat or truck more bagging. My garage is still a mess cleaning stopped when the light bulb turned on as usual.

Hanging always worked good for me, maybe 6 per nail. Hang as many as you can in the garage and put the rest on your lawn with the Pink Flamingos.

longline clips, a loop of wire, hung from a nail in a rafter--slide the clips onto the wire, which can be loop ended with clips, then hung on the nail--Might be able to get a bunch stored together that way.

I gave most of mine away to a good friend. They are now in ND, at his hunting camp - Perfect Storage. I now only have about three dozen to care for, more than enough for my needs.

Hanging large bags of plastic floaters always worked best for me. Grab what ya want and go. I had a large cellar, with hooks attached to the walls from which the bags hung.

I wad doing the bag trick but with limited space it wasn't working out. I have them hung up now on chain fish stringers and that's working great for storing it. I'll be out again next Saturday so I will get back to you with how it works for deploying and picking up.

If you hunt less than 4 feet of water I would recommend a Texas Rig any plastic decoy you hunt. Make sure if you are rigging a Texas Rig on geese you use 6 oz and greater weights.

Kristan
