I am redoing 2 sunfish sailboats into duck boats. I have 2 heavy ga. aluminum plates with a slot formed in them that you slide rudder pin down into. It bolts to the transom. Don't have a pic, but can get one if you want it. they are free if you pick up shipping. These would be great for someone making their bbsb into a sailing rig.

Hey Trip -
I do believe that those receivers are call 'gudgeons'. The pin on the rudder is a 'pintle'.
(Sorry - nothing really substantive to add, I just like saying 'gudgeon'...).
