Anybody on here ever attend this show as a visitor or vendor?

Just curious to see if its worthy of a trip that far south.

I hope this finds you well. This event was held in my hometown (Wilson) NC for the first time this past year. I was unable to attend due to being out of town for a fishing trip, but heard very positive feedback from those who went. It was well supported and I have worked with several of the organizers through our Local DU committee and other community groups.

I believe like any "Show/Expo" the initial one serves as a basis of design for future additions and modifications etc. My understanding is that this years upcoming event will have more vendors/events due to the success seen last year.

I am not currently a committee member with Wilson's DU Chapter due to working out of town, but rumor has it that DU will be hosting an evening banquet of sorts on the weekend of the expo.

I will reach out to some of my active contacts and confirm what their intent is, but overall I think the expo is a great event for the Wilson/Eastern NC area.

I was able to attend last year and it was a good show for it's first year. There is talk of it being even larger in 2016. There were lots of raffles and drawings 100 plus vendors ,dock dogs etc.Lots of call makers not many decoy carvers last year but that might change . There were some vendors not (Duck )related but that's with most shows.

Hi Phil,
Thank you for your response as well. I see they have a lot of callmakers listed from last years show. I don't really want to drive all that way and spend a pile of money, not to mention time off from work and be just another call maker at the show. I'll either have to step it up some or just come down as a visitor. I'll shoot you over a PM later too if you don't mind discussing the show some more.
