yeah - Tug Hill, nine months of hard winter, three months of poor skiing

Adirondac goldens are expensive. I don't know what you are willing to pay, but I've talked to them before and have been given prices in the $2000 range. I got a female golden out of Utah last summer. I'll try to come up with the website and post it. If it was next year I might be able to help you. I have a male who is out of field trial stock (avitar) and hope to breed with my new female.

Here is where I got my pup, www.windmillfarmsgoldens.com. I had it shipped by airline from Salt Lake to Pittsburgh (about $300-350).

I'll look into, your dog looks like the real deal. We had some great diver hunts the late season here. More redheads than bluebill though. Really extreme weather though, more than most dogs could be asked to get into. My old goldens never seemed to be bothered by it that much, Had a couple of Drathars that wern't really equipped as well for it but were very very tough dogs. Have 3 young grandsons now and need an good hunting dog with a brain and warm heart. I know that's asking alot. Thanks !!

Your not asking for a lot, I think your just asking for a lab!!! Haha!! Check out http://www.retrievertraining.net, they have a section for goldens and have a few litters posted right now. Good luck in your search.

Did not see anything to link to golden pups. The "war department" here has gotten used no dog living with no dog hair, dog mud, dog accidents, dog smell, wet, wet, wet, etc. and my best play is a golden (she likes them alot). Last dog was named "Furn" , short reminder of budgeted $$$ I spent to buy the dog versus the new living room furniture. Have had a couple labs, they were fine but not what I'm looking for at this point of my life. thanks

My hunting buddy from the Cape just purchased his second dog from adirondac. His first is now 15 and still strong ( retired from hunting) The new dog is already looking like a machine..

If I was lucky to have a dog that made 15 years, he'd be here longer than I would figure I'd have enough steam left to blow a duck call. I'd be over 80. Curious, anybody out there still killing ducks at 80+?

Hi Alan I just happen to have a litter of Golden pups due in less than 2 weeks and if you check Adirondac Goldens's pedigrees many of them go back to Shurmark and I just happen to be Shurmark Goldens the pedigree on the litter coming up is http://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=543696 you might find my prices a little more reasonable shurmark@hotmail.com

Hi Alan I sent you a PM on here that should explain more and there are pictures of the sire and dam when you go to the K9data link. Both dogs are dark.
