Well here is the second half of the leg of painting the Goldeneye Decoy I showed last night...I decided since I already had some Jansen paints sitting around from Ole' Willie, I might as well try this for a second time...It took me about an hour after painting, repainting, repainting, and etc....Hope you guys and gals enjoy...Oh, yeah...Mr. Double B...Another head frame shot...You might want to add this into your royalties...

You don't necessarily have to be first...Sometimes it is wonderful just to finish...

Well Mr. Gregory,

From a pebble talking to the mountain...That is a major compliment...I appreciate that...Adds a level of confidence to my carvings...Though I still will crawl on my hands and knees through your carving shed...I still have a major road to walk in the carving world...Not to mention the painting...

Now, ......I'd be proud to drop shot on that and I don't tell that to everyone (though many have heard it). ;) Ok, I might just shoot some birds but yours is "worthy" of a shot drop. Nicely done.

Lucky ran and hid when one of those pictures came up. I wont say which picture though. The decoy Looks nice Kristan. Keep at it. Cant have too many!
 
other than pretty good start, fella, you can, if you wish, extend the dark part of the head under the bill more-other than that, make a few more, and for heaven's sake, do not fear the hen!!

Well Done Son......I see some dry brushing techniques in there. You did pay attention in class. Nice deke but the picture did scare the crap out of me.

The Dekes are much easier to hit..........duh. ;) As I recall, it was Bomber who shot the Frog.....more than once. Was that a flier or a ........deke? ;)

Kristan, thats the same view I had when you'd turn around in Willie's class...just a different bird in the hand. Looks good. See you at Westlake. Brian that pic is scarry.
