I went hunting this past weekend by myself. Just wanted to show why i enjoy this so much. My best friend Jim Schmiedlin passed away this last year. He was like a second father and a brother to me. I will forever miss him. I told his wife this week that i dont know how to explain it but it felt like he was with me hunting this past weekend. The first two Jim made and i made the rest.










 
Dennis, looking at these pictures definitely shows why you felt your late friend was with you ,all of those decoys tell a story which I,m which sure will have a heartfelt impact on you & many others for a very long time . Thanks for sharing.

I clicked on your message and jims decoy just hit me. I too was a friend of his and miss him much. Most people think of Jim and think about his great decoys and his abilities I think of him and first thing I think of is how nice of a guy he was. Always humble and grateful. Never had a visit from him without a hand written note within a few days thanking us for having him over.
