Good Girl!

Sometimes I just shake my head in disbelief. Am I really that bad a shot? I was watching Chili a couple of days ago trying her hardest to chase down a slightly wounded greenhead. Thank goodness the channel is not that deep and she finally tracked it down with allot of "persistence"!

It is now getting down to that time of the season where it begins to weigh on my shoulders. When I woke up this morning the first thought through my mind was this-----"After today there will only be one Monday left to hunt." I have been able to get out for 64 days of hunting this year so far. Just 14 days to go.
With that in mind, I will then start counting the days until our early teal season and then begin praying for the possibility of rain. It has been a good year----no, a great year because I didn't break any bones.

Al - Nothing finer than a good retriever. Thank you for sharing your goodness. Losing mine after 13 years, I enjoy your pictures. God bless!

Al,
Once again very nice pics. We start our second split on the 23rd, however we have been locked in heavy ice
for well over a month. So spirits are high even if expectations are not. I have been pleasantly surprised
with the waterfowl opportunities you have shared with us from New Mexico. I knew your beautiful state had
great Elk, Deer, and Antelope, but the waterfowl has surprised me.Good luck with remaining days of your
season, give Chili a pat on the head.
Best,
WG

Walter Cronkite was correct.....Duck hunting is dangerous......for the ducks.....

Especially if Chili is around.
