Where did you guys end up deciding to go? Sorry I couldn't be much help with Mississippi info. From what my brother-in-law says not much happening near Lansing. I've been shooting a few around here locally but seeing very limited number of birds to work.

Well, we're leaving this Fri. We are going to start on Spring Lake near twin cities. (We have a place to stay and know the water a little) We are hunting till Wed. morning and we will work our way south as reports dictate. Hopefully I will have to eat my weight in duck breasts to stay on the trip! Thanks for your help, this is kind of spur of the moment to, as we had 2 guys cancel last week. Mike and I are all that is left, and we are planning on a wing-it or Bust attitude.

I assume you're hunting the MN side of the river if you're quitting Tues nite. I'm on the W side of pool 7. Last week there were tens of thousands of birds in the closed area (Lake Onalaska) but I havn't heard any shooting for the last few days. I'm off work tomorrow through the end of the season and we'll try to find some birds around here but i'm beginning to think they boogied. Don't know if I'll get out tomorrow but definately going Wed. If you're thinking about coming this far south give me a call toward the end of the week. (507) 643-6382 we'll let ya in on all our secrets.
