Hello all,this weekend brought some cool temps and highwind to western kansas and we had an enjoyable hunt.Got a few not so good pics of my son and mutt mystery hunting dog.We shot 7 blues,2 greenwings,and a widgeon.Not many big ducks where I hunt yet.Coots and widgeons are starting to show up.Plenty of wood ducks and lots of teal.The dog got a good workout in the waves and slept well.

Looks like you have that much needed commodity called water in your area, Clinton. Lucky you. Nice to hear that you did so well. It is amazing how late the bluewings are this year. That is a nice looking pup you have working for you.

Thanks Al,that pup is 11 years old.He showed up one day at our place as a young pup,the vet guessed him to be about six weeks old.Someone dumped him off I'm sure.We decided to keep him until we found him a good home.Looks like he found one.We call him our mutt who just instinctively hunts.
