I took my dog down to the local park for some training yesterday. This park consists of 3 old gravel pits and the local geese love. It is bordered by a river so migratory birds frequently stop by. Yesterday there was a Mute swan. It ignored us until Muddy hit the water. After that it followed us wherever we went. On one retrieve he ended up swimming through a larger flock of geese, ~25, and near the swan. He's use to the geese and ignores them. He didn't pay any attention to the swan and the swan kept its distance too. We rounded a point and walked up on 3 BWT hen's. It was neat to see them swimming with the geese and the swan.
