Lee, Rick, Hank, Thanks for the notes. Lee, as far as getting to shoot the guns, I just went out in our field to put a box through them to check to see that everything seems ok. But there were several that I hoped to use this winter, especially the Jeffrey, but they sold.
Regarding the Greener FarKiller that Rick wants, those just don't come up often. But the most unusual gun I've ever encountered was one: It was a 16 bore with 34 inch barrels! But even more unusual, it was chambered for 3 inch shells. I think I know where this gun is, or was, if you have any interest in it. I came close to buying it three or four years ago. I can't remember exactly what the fellow wanted for it, but think it was in the $2000 range. Of course unless one had brass shells made in 3 inch 16 bore, those chambers wouldn't be put to full use. But my interest was that it would certainly be a one of a kind gun! There are still a fair number of good old wildfowling guns over there, and I sure hope I am able to turn them up on a regular basis. If dealers are now asking upward to $3500 (and I guess get that) for Parker VH guns, my prices for far better guns will seem cheap indeed. Best, Worth Mathewson
