I am in Rhode Island and looking to swap the Ultramag. I put a walnut stock on it and glass bedded the fore end.
I never really wrung it out & bought a Savage 220 so it doesn't get used. I also have rifled barrel 870 20 that is a dedicated slug gun so I just don't need a 3rd backup.
This firearm started out life as a youth 12 gauge & I have the original hardwood stock, original fore end & 12 gauge barrel.
The H&R plant in Gardner, MA fitted the Ultrmag barrel. I also asked them to reduce trigger pull to 3 1/2 pounds but I have never checked it.
Not interested in a sale. Hope to swap face to face with someone else in New England.
A heavy barrel blued Savage B mag is my preference and seems like a fair swap.
