Here are a couple of shots my wife took while visiting the Mother Land (Scotland). :)

This looks like some kind of mussel farm. Just off the Isle of Mull. Made me think of scooters,

I'm not sure, but I think these are Greylags. Scotty probably knows for sure.

That's all folks, time to smash the pumpkins and take down the spider webs.

Thanks Eddie,
They looked just enough like the domestic Toulose to make me wonder. I guess I'll just have to convince my wife we need to come back so I can have a closer look. Hopefully while tucked into a tidal wash with a good breeze at my back:)

Brian the main give away to Identify the greylag geese are their Orange bills but if you look closely at the picture, there only seems like one with the Orange bill and the rest to me look like Juveniles.

Eddie.

The other possibility would be pink-footed geese. The RSPB sanctuary at Mersehead reported 2,200 pink-footed geese hast week.

Brad they are not pinkfeet, the pinkfeet geese have pink legs and a pink bill with a black nail and is a smaller goose then the greylag.

Eddie.

Brad I have got the colouring of the bill the wrong way around, its black with a pink spot just in front of the nail.
take care
Eddie.
