Havre de Grace, MD Decoy Festival

I think I might make that one. Kill two birds with one stone. get to check out the decoys and bring my dog to jump. I was never there, is everything in the same basic area? will I be able to walk around with my dog? or am I going to have to bring my wife to dog sit while I'm checking out the stands?
 
I always attend the show but this being a Hunting show might be interesting. Francy,the decoy show was held at the two schools in town along with the museum. I would think they would sey up around that area. If you walked from school to school it's not to bad, there is a shortcut trail along the way. I've done it, if your a walker no big deal, otherwise they run a free shuttle bus all weekend long. Check out the Crab Cakes at the Bayou (Bay U) if your from town.

should be interesting. I have always drove to each, but there is a free shuttle, can't remember if its dog friendly though, I beleive it is. As stated most is at the school and I would imagine with the huge feilds there, the hunting and dog stuff will be located there as well. The gunning decoy competion is at the Mueseum on the Flats, both Sat and Sun. Last year they switched it on us, so rigs where on sat and singles were Sun. There is always an informal gathering of carvers, duckboats' guys and others that tailgate after the rig competition with often unique cusine, so stop by.
