Hope to see some of you this weekend at the h de g show.
Rigs for this year are buffies. To be set on saturday-six deke rig--sunday comp also at the museum. Plenty to see and do in the decoy capitol of the world!

I've been fishing the flats at least one day a week for the last six weeks. I'll probably go into auto-pilot mode and wind up in the launch line with the glitter boats at Tydings ramp. It'll be nice to drive through HDG at a sane hour without a boat behind the truck. See y'all there.

Bill, will be at the museum for the rig comp--around one--look for a formerly portly guy in bibs, wearing a golden t shirt!!
Hope you are staying for the annual picnic and swap meet on sunday--So far, i figure we have onion salad, perdiz escabeche, some adult begerages, and other stuff to eat--Some of the usual guys from north of us are not going to make it, so we will miss merganser pate, which is super!

george, great job on numerous blue ribbons at the worlds, a master carver still alive great:bill

George sorry I missed you yesterday. Saw the three rigs out front. Spent time with Jeff Coats and others. Had a great time and great crabcakes at the Bayou!

Bill, we had a pretty good turnout of dekes on the flats today. The big surprize for us was the increase in the number of canvas dekes!
You should have stopped by today and picnicked with us after the comp--
Thanks to all the folks who entered, and big hugs to the volunteers who kept thinngs running smoothly. You all are angels!! Hope to see more decoy makers put their stuff out on the legendary Susquehanna Flats, where waterfowling and decoy making wnet hand in hand. Those of you who visited the museum got a great glimpse of the history and artifacts of the area. Come join us next year and make the show more successful.
