Heading North

Packing up to head North, to my son's cabin, to start my 71st duck season ( 3 years out for WW II). We will bow hunt for deer and fly fish for smalies on the Menominee river in between duck hunting. At my age a NAP is always included :)

I'll be heading north in another couple hours as well. Looking forward to another good season and my first year with Canvas in the blind. Good luck everyone!

Good luck to both of you. I'm a little jealous. I'm going to spend the weekend clearing fallen trees on my cousins property that I gun hunt (close to 30 trees got blown over in those wind storms). My has been up north camping in Nicolet National Forest since Wednesday and texted me saying that she has seen a tone of waterfowl flying all over the place.
 
Heading North myself as soon as I can get out of work here. Maybe I'll see you guys on road. I'll be the white Ford sport trac towing a 16' flat bottom with a Carstens puddler on top of decoy bags! Good luck to all! and by the way there are No Ducks in Schoolcraft county! ha ha

Boz, good luck. where abouts on the Menom does your son have a place? I have several friends that have cottages or live up that way. Beautiful country.

Hope you do well with all your activities, ESPECIALLY the nap!!!
