Herters Brant Decoys?

I just recieved a dozen and noticed there are no holes to attach the decoy
line to. These are my first foamers so do I just drill a hole threw the foam
on the keel or what. To me it should be ready to go when purchased. Whats
up with that.

is there not an eye bolt on the bottom that you can tie a line to? I don't know about the new ones, but I know a lot of the older herteres that I've seen hasve always had an eye bolt that attaches the head to the body and we just tied the line to that...

but I don't know bout those...do the heads swivel?

The heads attach with a .25" eyebolt (various lengths depending on size of decoy)... That is what you attach you drop or line to. If you ordered the full decoy and they didn't come with eyebolts I would contact Cabelas but if you ordered heads and bodies seperately you will need to head to Lowe's, Home Depot or Cabelas to get the eyebolts

Thanks guys maybe there in the bottom of the box. I just open up one of the
decoys. Thanks again.

Hey Gary,
It should look like this:

Use a 1/4-20 X 6" eyebolt with washer. Stainless is better, but zinc will work and SS is a mail order item.
Thread thru hole in decoy, into head.

Hope this helps!
I am in the middle of burlapping some of these, so they were handy for pics..

Good!
Remember, Righty-tighty, lefty-loosy.
I got some eyebolts at HD last week and they rang up at $.01 (YES 1 CENT) each! I couldn't believe it! She called the manager, who laughed and said it was my lucky day, and approved it.
I gave the lady a quarter and got change!

Gary, congrats on the herters you'll love'em. make sure you push the heads on and then tighten the bolts into them. Don't use the bolts to pull the heads down tight you'll crack the heads!!!
