Herters Duck Bill

I recently purchased a SBDB and am in need of a push pole. I would love to find a Herters duck bill to attach to the end of a pole. Does anyone have one that they are willing to part with? Does anyone have an idea where I could find a quality duck bill? Thank you.

Knutson,s use to carry them as well as aluminum telescoping push pole. Heads were made from Aluminum as opposed to stamped, painted sheet metal others are.[/font]

Alternative idea if you want to make your own wooden push pole head.

Thats the one I was referring to exactly. Best I've found thru the years. There's a Chinese knockoff on EBAY that looks the same but its junk, don't make the mistake of getting it.

i found a couple this summer and used old fireman's pike poles with the head cut off and the duckbill added. I have a couple fireman buddies that keep me in good supply.
