He told me that they had an outstanding Deer season this past year taking several really nice bucks off of Cascade and C2 and also added (2) different Mtn. Lions during the season.....the neatest part of those being that both of them were called in with Predator Calls. Both were males including one bruiser of a Tom that Mike said came in without the normal big cat pussy foot approach.....

Calling Lions must be a hoot for sure and especially so when a really big one comes in on the "quick step"....

He said there are at least two others working the Cascade where we Turkey hunt...might have to find me a sheer rock wall to put my back against and try a little squalling on a Turkey call this Spring....

Heck yes!

Take a call along with you when you are out hunting turkeys, better yet, have Mike do the calling a short distance away and HE can act as the BAIT.

I've been thinking about doing some calling from my tree stand on my bear trail. I can get 4 lion tags between Judy and I, that's eniugh to make a full bedspread! Either a lion, bear, bobcat or coyote could show up at my tree stand in the woods.

And there's something about being 20 foot up in a tree stand that makes ME feel better about it too!

There are two guys that I know of in this area that call in their bears every season. You just have to take your time and not get in a hurry they tell me.

If you get down here before your hunt with Mike, maybe we will try doing some calling here.
