I saw that auction, according to the guys description he said it was missing the barrel & forend. How much did you pay for the action and the butt stock?

The stock has been cut down a bit and a recoil pad added. I am hoping my grandson will have fun with it and I plan on shooting it quite a bit too. Most of my home birds that are shootable, are shootable with a 410..so this little dude will be duck hunting next season. I'd love to see the grandson whack a duck with it.325 plus 25 shipping. Sent the check and FFl this afternoon...my FFl lives 4 houses south of me and I can't wait for it to arrive!

That will work! He's going have fun with it too. Don't you have a gunshop near you? A four hour drive will cost you a heck of a lot more in gas money than the $25 a local gunshop will charge you for handling the registration.

That's right Dave...HOUSES..1 block away and he doesn't charge me....yet. Plus, he just bought my aluminium boat and 25 Mariner.."whiiiine" so I had the coin for some serious shopping and lucked into a bargain (I hope).

Joe, Judy does noot alway pay attention. She was in her bus doing paper work when I drove by her in the P/U taking a load of stuff up to the shop. It is now the time of year that I'm not in the house much. I have a lot of stuff to get moved from down here to the shop so we won't have to move it all at once when this side of the property sells.
We will be living up at the shop's apartment while we have a new home built down by the pond. If the whole place sells...........well, then all bets are off. We'll be homeless and headed for either Montana or Baja depending on the time of year.
Gotta go back to my rat killin'.
