Higbee Pond box

Just picked up this Higbee pondbox its very light it is 7ft 3 long and 3 feet wide. Im going to redo the shell racks get a new canvas breakwater and cockpit cover. Has anyone gunned out of them? How do you like them?

I really liked mine, and as I noted on FB, and posted here on DBs, made several changes to make it work better for me. I used it for taking more decoys when I had only my BBSB and wanted to layout hunt. I could fit a few more dozen decoys and once deployed, I simply anchored it off where I didn't want birds to land. I sold it a few yrs ago because I had not been using it. Needed space and funds to fund the next project at the time (AA Blackjack).

They must but we are fortunate for all the original Duck machine then higbee’s were all built in south jersey.
