Guys...
I have been duck hunting since I was just a kid and in that time there are several birds I have never had the opportunity to take or I have not shot many of here in the northeast. It seems that people on this site are some of the nicest and most genuine around, perhaps since we all share the same love...
Anyway, I am looking for some help with a few species. Maybe you would like to trade a duckhunt with me here on Long Island, NY? I would even trade a fishing trip for striped bass, bluefish, fluke or false albacore as I have an 18ft Parker CC. Maybe you know where some of these birds hang out and would like to do a hunt with me in my duckboat? Or maybe you are like me and enjoy hunting in new places and meeting new friends.
Here is my list:
Redhead
Widgeon
Gadwall
Pintail
Goldeneye
Canvasback
Wood duck
Blue Wing Teal
Cinnamon Teal
Brant
Common Eider
I know some of these birds are not common to the Northeast, but I am hoping to stay somewhat local.... If anyone wants to trade a trip, make a new hunting buddy, etc please feel free to respond.
Like I said, I can offer hunting out of my duckboat for one guest, we have good shooting for mallards, black ducks, bufflehead, green wing teal and Canadian Geese. I can also offer great fishing for 2 guests for striped bass, bluefish, fluke and false albacore (little tuna during the fall fun). Maybe even some sea duck shooting out of my center console boat for scoters and old squaw.
Let me know....
Chris
