Hey guys our gang has been hunting between Goodrich and Hurdsfield for 10 years or so, just doesnt get any better! My wife and I drove thru goodrich one afternoon just before sunset, probably in October, there were a dozen whitetails ambling thru town just as relaxed as could be.
 
Jim, If you are serious talk to a local banker in N.D. Its a whole different economic world up there! They havnt heard the word recession. My friend has a very nice lumber yard in the same general area. Is having one of his best years.
 
Funny! This house is a hunting shack of northern MI proportions and the mortgage probably is not needed. Rich you are right about the economy to the west but this particular area has not seen the oil and I hope it never does. This is duck factory land par supreme. Drive over a small hill and lo a behold there are another 5 small ponds loaded with ducks.
 
Currently the taxes are less than $50 per year and water/sewer and garbage city fees are $42 per mo. I just talked to Barb the realtor and reduced the asking price and would consider any reasonable offer.
