how best to store cedar for decoys

OK, due to an overly generous friend, I find myself in the position of having so much white cedar in my shop that it's interfering with my ability to move around I was thinking of cutting all of the sticks to length and stacking the cuts on my metro racks. But another buddy who's a little OCD swears that it'll twist. What is the best way to get the stack into manageable form?

The longer you leave them, the better they will be against checking and warping. Coat the ends with anchorseal and sticker them when you stack. Too much cedar is a good problem to have.

make the room and keep them as long as possible. Anchorseal is your friend as mentioned above.

Also keep that friend
