How to ID a DHBP reader - Tuckerton

I know there will be a bunch of folks at the Tuckerton Show this weekend, but recognizing each other will be difficult.... I know there had been a t-shirt project initiated in the past, but was wondering if a hat might be created? Too late for this weekend... but if it was something that folks were interested in and Eric agreed/approved the use of the artwork.... I would be willing to head it up.

The easy answer to being able to recognize folks, is for everyone to use their picture as their avatar. I nice clean photo lets you know not only, are they a participant, but who they are. When you see them in person, you will be able to recognize them from their avatar.

I see the abbreviation all the time, but what exactly does "DBHP" stand for?
I know DB stands for duck boats, but what is the HP for?
Curious....

It was actually DHBP, Duck Hunter's Boat Page... but over time and since it is simply called duckboats.net now the 'H' and 'B' have been switched more often then not. Thinking about it they were switched as much back ten years ago as they are now. :-)

I thought it was "DHBP", because the site was originally "Duck Hunter's Boat Page"? The OP's letters are mixed up.

I'll suggest everyone wears a camo hat...should make it easy that way... ;)

A few years ago, several of members of another duck hunters web site wore blaze orange hats to a waterfowl event in order to quickly identify other members.

The orange hat is probably a better idea than a camo hat. Since it's a duck hunting/decoy collecting show I would guess camo hats would be pretty popular with everyone.

T-shirts or hats with the duckboats.net logo would be the best way to go and some $ could probably be raised for the website as well. I would buy a hat or shirt...

Can someone suggest an obvious meeting spot/time on Saturday if folks want to face to face? Will Mike be there with his decoys? His booth at noon? Someplace we can all find easy enough?

DHBP= Duck Hunters Boat Page

We did sell hats a number of years back. I have one, they have a canvasback cartoon hunter paddling a BSBB on them. Really nice hats
Does anyone know who did the hats & if it is possible to get another run produced?

The t-shirt thing imploded a while back. Dont know exactly why and probably don't need to stir the pot. But it would be nice to bring the idea back to life.

Dave,
John and I are going to make the drive saturday, and we will get some name tags for the trip. Might bring Claire too.
Are you going to have the boat there?

Great Bob, yes, I will pull the sneakbox along, though I am not "showing" it. I want to bring it to show to Ron at the Museum. I hope/plan to park it at the museum, likely behind the gate if I can. Call me when you arrive. I should be there around 9am or so.
