Here is a list of 10 things you can do to help with passing time and keeping your sanity during the Corona Virus social distancing.
1. Fish for bass with a floating Rapala
2. Fish for bass with a suspending Yozuri
3. Fish for bass with a Chug-bug
4. Fish for bass with a Shad Rap (balsa model Preferred)
5. Fish for bass with a red worm Texas style.
6. Fish for bass with a curly tail jig.
7. Fish deep for bass with a wacky rigged water melon color worm.
8.Fish for bass deep with a perch colored crank bait.
9. Fish for bass with a bait caster
10. Fish for bass with a light spinner.
Hope this helps.
In about 2 hours from now I will shut down my work computer, head to the Everglades with my wife and work on this sanity saving list

bass season starts in June here

but fly fishing for trout is open and fly fishing is always social distancing

Ron

That's as good of a way to social distance as any. I guess you could add 11. Fish for bass with explosives.

Our bass season only runs from January 1st through December 31st so we have to fish while we can

HA!!

I still have a couple of floating Rapala's I got from my Dad back in high school. Great classic lures.

That is cool Carl. I still have the Rapala that I used to catch the first bass I can remember catching 52 Years ago. It is long retired...but I have it

Yes it is, Thank God.

Just placed a order at Breambugs, Gaines popper supply is gettin' low.

Seems like the bass don't read the rules, or the calendar, and while pan fishing they always say hello. [smile]

They all go back, even in season, but that may change this year.

I did enjoy the list, and have some of those lures/baits, and more.

Was Jitterbug on there?

Even though we are in a "stay at home" order, recreational walks are encouraged.

I am taking my "recreational walk" at the local public game lands for the following reasons:
1) Only a few people go there so social distancing is easy.
2) I can hunt for morels, which have started appearing locally, although as a newbie to the area, it will take me some time to pinpoint spots.
3) While hunting morels, I can look for spots to hunt turkeys. Case in point today: while walking back to my truck after a short walk, I literally walked into a flock of about 8 turkeys who took off flying in two directions, obviously upset that some idiot was walking through their space at noon when he should be "sheltering at home"!
4) Guessing where those turkeys might have come from, I found a nice little stream with those tell tale hoof prints of deer. Beyond that stream I found an area of woods with an open forest floor. And there I found all sorts of turkey sign.
5) Came home hot and sweaty, had lunch, took a shower and sat on the porch. Wife's niece came over because she thought her aunt and uncle ought to get outside for a walk. I just laughed.
