Humboldt Bay Scull Rehab Complete

The process I used was to attach the fittings for the bunges then zip tied a plastic one inch square fencing material to the bunge cord and then zip tied on seven pounds of Killer Weed to the grid. I used over 300 5 inch zip ties on this project.

Hi Jon,
I plan to do both, the grass mat comes off just by undoing the bungee cords so the boat can be used as a scull or as a layout blind.

That's the way to make 'em versatile!!! I haven't blinded mine up yet but if I ever do I'm gonna take lessons from you! Great natural look.

Thanks for the kind comments I think my boat turned out super. I found the idea for the grass mat on UTube. Momarsh boats camo video will give you a step by step sequence to build this type of camo cover.

Mike we need to talk,, I have a very similar style boat that was made in CA. I think the name is "sunchaser" in the sticker, I need to do a little glass work on the deck where it joins the hull and give it a paint job, it is grey now but pretty faded from the sun.

Then I need to learn how to scull,, it has orelocks for rowing and a boot on thre stern.

Hi Fred
sounds like a great boat and should offer you some new hunting opportunities. I am not much of a sculler but on the river I don't have to be. Happy to assist anyway I can.
