I have been making these for local dog lovers, beer lovers and our American Legion fundraising activities for the past 6 months or so. I even brought them to my first Outdoor Expo here in Michigan and they were pretty popular with those guys too.
The images are attached to the pine back via decoupage and the whole assembly is sealed with at least 4 coats of satin poly so I'm confident they'll survive outdoors. I add the cast iron opener after sealing then epoxy in the inset round thing. That's the magnet that catches the bottle caps pretty effectively. I include two 3" drywall nails to replace the screws in the pictures so you can wall mount the opener to a stud or other solid backing.
From the same guy that brought you Original Fake Genuine Imitation Paper Mache Corn Decoys so naturally they all bear my almost famous signature.
If you have ideas for other designs, I'd love to hear it. I like making these things and I can add just about any graphic you can think of. "One-offs" are okay too if you don't mind waiting a week or two
