I inherited some foam bodies. I assume they are Herters magnums. I have had them for years and finally pulled them down in anticipation of a weekend indoors. I strongly prefer to carve my own but should not let them go to waste. I notice they are two shapes. I’m assuming the long thin one is for dabblers and the shorter one is for divers? I have about 18 of these total.

Yes, these are molded in the Herters style. They may or may not be cast from a Herters mold. Over the years there have been several molds made and sold to the DIY market.

Look like Herters model 72’s to me. Cabelas sold the bodies in the raw state like that before they eventually closed them out. You are correct one shown is the diver body, the other a puddler body

Thanks for confirming. I’ll probably unload the diver bodies. I do believe they are the Herters closeouts. They have an integrated keel.
