I Got My Christmas present

Yesterday I got caught up on all the posts since the fourteen of Dec. I was pretty busy. My wife Carol hadn't been feeling well for a while. She had a appointment for a Heart cath on Tues and was taking a medicine for the procedure before hand. She was feeling worse each day blaming the medicine. The day of the heart Cath the Doc said "I don't think so but I will not be able to do any stints if you are having problems with the medicine." Carol said "then I can go home" and the Doc said "no we are going to take a look" To shorten this up, early the next morning on her birthday she had a triple bypass. She is now at home and feeling like a new person. A little sore.

I got my Christmas present.......I got to thank a lot of skilled Doc's and nurses. And one who watches over all of us...

Wow Pete, what a shock that must have been. Glad to hear they took care of the issue before anything serious happened. Merry Christmas!

Yes Ryan, an emotional roller coaster. You should have seen the look on Carol's face when she came too after surgery. She didn't think she would make it. I wish I could have taken a picture. She was giddy.

Peter that is a Christmas present to remember and Im pleased for you, the Lord has paid you back in Kind for the prayers you said for me when I was going for my bypass. I will now pray that Carol will have a speedy recovery and you both have a Christmas to remember.
take care and God Bless
Eddie.

That is a special, special Christmas present. Now I suppose you'll have to fix duck for Christmas dinner :-) My best to your wife--heal well.
I got a special Christmas gift this week also. Thanksgiving my back went to hell and I spent the day and following days flat. Thinking my spinal fusion had broken down, xrays, MRI's proved not the case. Yesterday a kenalog injection into the nerves in the spine above the fusion has given hopefully more than temporary relief. Aren't we lucky?
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Eddie, It sounds like you are doing well. I knew of your concerns before your surgery. Carol got a good birthday present and I got a good Christmas one.

I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas from this side of the pond.

Jim, I sure enjoy my Christmas present. Learning to plan meals grocery shop is something I haven't done in a while. I am a bit rusty but I know Carol won't starve.

I hope that back will give you some relief. I know how that can be.

I wish you and Yvonne a very Merry Christmas

Thanks peter, yes Im picking myself up now even if the snow is not letting me walk as far as I would like to, but that may be a good thing considering
the situation and my prayers go out to you and carol.

take care and God Bless
Eddie.

Mike, I the caretaker needs a little prayer. Thanks... I know you know, all about being a caretaker. I am taking care of a very independent women and sometimes I have to put a brick on top of her head to slow her down.

I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.

if the brick doesn't work.......couple of 25lbs sacks of lead shot....

On a lighter note...

the lead shot sacks wont flatten her head as fast...no hard flat surfaces....

Kudos to the care taker and to you the care giver... and wishing a fast recovery for both of you

May God Bless
Matt
