I received the Eliminator Layout S.U.B.'s today...

and of course I had to bust one out and set it up in the family room.

I like it, its comfortable and it even came with a goose flag which I am using to scare the cat.

One question though...maybe I am doing something wrong but it doesn't seem all that collapsible to me, without basically taking the whole thing apart. Is there some magic required that I didn't see in the directions?

I'm not sure how much you want to collapse it, but to get it to lay flat like a sheet of plywood you just have to pull the 4 "quick-pins", 2 in front and 2 in back.

That's about as far down as it collapses without using tools.

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Kirk,

In addition to the 4 pins, don't forget to slack off on the two top straps and release the two head rest buckles.

Not a big deal but having just got my S.U.B. a couple of weeks ago the whole blind as well as the pins is stiff.

Good point. I hosed 'em down, muddied 'em up and left them set up in the garage for a couple of weeks before the season. By the time the season rolled around the fabric was stretched out and the blinds were easy to set up in the dark without the wrestling match you encounter the first time you open them.
