I walked outside to go to the kennel and happened to see our flowering yellow rose bush. This marks the 4th time it has bloomed this year. I walked over for a closer look and then saw the praying mantis female along with a seemingly shy male.
I did think about the movie and phrase of "I Triple Dog Dare You" when I looked at the male praying mantis. I took the pics and then headed out to the kennel to take care of the dogs. When I got back neither of them was to be seen.
