I want y'all to see something very special to me.

Frank Peeters was gracious enough to carve this decoy to serve as my dog, Shiloh's, urn. Even without Shiloh in it, it's special. Frank really put himself into it. She came back home with us Memorial Day weekend when we went to pick up Quinn from the breeder. Fitting.

I asked for a simple Gunner, but Frank said he 'did a little extra work'. These pics don't do it justice.

Extra stuff like this..........

The decoy won't float because her remains amount to about 3 lbs. of material, but she'll ride in the boat once more this season and, maybe, give Duncan a few pointers about the job.......

Thank you, Frank, for doing such a fine work on her final resting place.

Bill,
It's as beautiful as it is fitting.
And, do be sure to add this post to the Tributes page.

Best,

Brian F.
Ps. congrats on the new pup.

looks great, and a fitting tribute

It' a beautiful way to hold a close friend in our hearts and mind. The decoy urn is the way to go for all us dog lovers.
Thanks for sharing.

thats a good thing you did there Bill, I love having murphys ashes in his big ole labrador deke (if id of put him in a puddle duck he would of haunted me lol). Lucky i made it big enough that it will float, not the best bt it will ONCE A YEAR is it......

Love the keel also great touch for sure.

Insert smiley thumbs up

That's incredible. That's one of the best ideas I've ever seen, and really touching too.

Take care,
Kirk
