I'm loosing my login for both my 'puter (windows) and Ipad. Every time I close the window, I have to log in again. Over the years this forum has been extremely good and I've probably had to log in about 6 times in the past 15 years. Now it is 6 times per day.

Possibly a new feature for those that have been assigned probationary status? 6 times a day? Don't you have anything else to do? Clean and polish those garden shovels and tools perhaps?

BTW, No problems staying logged in on either my 'puter or phone here.
 
Currently I am not having this problem. But have experienced the same thing on both work computers. Sometimes I will go weeks where every time I come back to the site, I need to log in, but currently it is working typical.
 
Interesting that you have seen transient problems. Since I lost it on both my devices and not other websites, I thought it was the forum. Both devices are work devices, but everything else works.
 
I know if I have my system set to not save cookies then I have to re-login each time

Only issue I’ve been having is when I try to edit my profile settings to not receive email notifications for post replies or messages, it doesn’t work and automatically resets to send me those emails.
 
Nope, no problems here, on either laptop or iPhone.

Did you do an update lately? Might have turned off cookies.
 
I've noticed when I pull the page up it appears as though I need to log in but as soon as I click to any link on the site I'm logged in. Try that.

Absolutely the case. That is what I just did as a test. It appeared I was not logged in and then I clicked this post and responded without logging in. Thanks!

The only downside is that when the forum is on the main page and it thinks you aren't logged in you can't see what the new posts are.

I've noticed some of the new computers such as my new table default to clearing history, cookies and logins on shut downs. If your having problems check your settings.
 
Tod, I don't know, but coincidentally, I no longer have to enter my password twice every time I log in. I type in my password, get an error message, type it in a second time, and get allowed in. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Finally fixed about 6 months ago.

Apparently, I have been allowed into the "cool kids club", and you've been demoted.

Perhaps the moderators will let you back in, but only if you get one of these: https://www.duckcreekdecoys.com/

I’m having the same issue with multiple sites on my laptop and iPhone. Quite annoying since I can never remember my password. Some sites require 4-6-8 letters. Some require alphanumeric. Some require one upper case and at least one lower case. Some require a “special” one like ($&@%).
